By confirming a booking with Garuda Holiday, you agree to the following Refund & Cancellation Policy.

  • Tour operator policies
  • Visa processing rules
  • Insurance provider terms

Garuda Holiday will support you throughout the cancellation process, but the final refund depends on supplier approval.


2. Holiday Package Cancellations

Cancellation charges for holiday packages may vary depending on the destination, season, and supplier terms.

In most cases, cancellation charges may include:

  • Hotel cancellation charges
  • Flight cancellation charges
  • Transport cancellation charges
  • Service/handling charges

If the package includes multiple services, each service may have separate cancellation rules.


3. Flight Ticket Cancellations

Flight cancellations and refunds are strictly based on airline policies.

  • Some fares may be partially refundable or non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling charges may apply depending on airline rules.
  • Garuda Holiday is not responsible for airline cancellations, delays, or fare changes.

Refund (if eligible) will be processed only after confirmation from the airline.


4. Hotel Booking Cancellations

Hotel cancellation policies depend on the property rules.

  • Some hotels allow free cancellation within a specific time period.
  • Some bookings may be non-refundable.
  • No-shows may result in no refund.

Any refund will be processed only after confirmation from the hotel.


5. Visa Cancellations & Refunds

Garuda Holiday provides visa assistance and documentation support.

Please note:

  • Visa fees, embassy fees, and service charges are non-refundable once the application is submitted.
  • Visa approval is solely at the discretion of the embassy/consulate.
  • Garuda Holiday does not guarantee visa approval.

6. Travel Insurance Refunds

If travel insurance is issued, refunds depend on the insurance provider’s policy.

In most cases:

  • Once the policy is issued, it may not be refundable.
  • Claims and settlements are handled directly by the insurance company.

7. Refund Processing Timeline

If a refund is approved by the supplier, the processing time may vary.

Refunds are generally processed within:
7 to 21 working days, depending on the airline/hotel/operator and payment mode.

Garuda Holiday will update you with the status whenever required.


8. Service Charges

Garuda Holiday may apply service or handling charges for:

  • Booking confirmations
  • Cancellations
  • Rescheduling or modifications
  • Documentation or visa assistance

These charges are non-refundable unless mentioned otherwise.


9. No-Show Policy

If a customer does not appear for:

  • Flight boarding
  • Hotel check-in
  • Scheduled tour pickup
    it will be treated as a no-show, and refunds may not be applicable.

10. Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Situations)

Garuda Holiday is not responsible for cancellations due to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Weather conditions
  • Government restrictions
  • Political disturbances
  • Airline cancellations or delays
  • Strikes or local shutdowns

In such cases, refunds will depend entirely on supplier policies.
